This week in Year 3, we learnt all about the different parts of the skeleton, including the skull, the spine, the ribcage, the pelvis and the femur (the longest bone in the body). We also learnt that humans have 206 bones when they are an adult but actually have more bones when they are a baby. We modelled our own skeletons and labelled them which was a very fun, interactive activity.
