What an Incredible Journey!
As we come to the end of another fantastic year in Nursery, we are so proud of every single one of our amazing children. It has been wonderful to watch them grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity from their very first days with us.
At the beginning of the year, many little faces arrived feeling a little nervous and unsure. Through kindness, encouragement, and lots of fun, they quickly settled into their new classroom, made new friends, learned our routines, and began to feel happy and confident in their new environment.
Every day has been filled with exciting adventures. Through play, exploration, and discovery, the children have developed their confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills. They have built, created, investigated, imagined, and worked together, making every day a new adventure.
Our phonics journey has been full of excitement as the children have learned to recognise sounds, listen carefully, join in with rhymes, and begin blending sounds together. They have loved sharing stories, singing songs, and developing a real love of books and reading.
From making their very first marks to writing their names and beginning to form letters correctly, the children have made incredible progress. Their growing confidence with pencils, paints, chalks, and other creative materials has been wonderful to see.
We have enjoyed counting, sorting, comparing, measuring, recognising patterns, and learning about shapes through practical activities and games. Every achievement, big or small, has been celebrated.
This year has been filled with laughter, smiles, friendships, messy play, outdoor adventures, creative crafts, music, dancing, celebrations, and so many unforgettable moments. Watching the children’s personalities shine has been the greatest joy.
Every child has grown in their own unique way, showing resilience, kindness, curiosity, and a willingness to try new things. They have achieved so much, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they have accomplished.
A heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful families for your continued support throughout the year. Working together has helped make this such a happy and successful year for every child.
We wish all of our Nursery children the very best as they move on to their next exciting adventure. Keep smiling, keep learning, and never stop being curious!
