Year 3 have had a fantastic week of learning all about the rainforest. The children explored the different layers of the rainforest and discovered how each layer supports a wide range of plants and animals. They enjoyed learning interesting facts about rainforest animals and where they live within this unique environment. As part of their learning, the children also had the opportunity to look at and discuss musical instruments that originate from rainforest regions. This helped them make links between geography, culture and music. It has been lovely to see their curiosity and enthusiasm grow throughout the week.
