This week in science, we explored electrical conductivity. We carried out a fantastic experiment where we predicted whether an object would be an insulator or conductor of electricity. We drew diagrams of a correct circuit in our book, using correct scientific symbols and then built the circuits. We tested various different materials such as scissors, aluminium foil, rubbers and plastic. The conclusion to our experiment was that the metal objects were conductors of electricity and allowed the lightbulbs and motors to work efficiently in a circuit.
