This week in year six, the students were acting out scenarios that could help them understand the importance of internet safety. We learned how we can keep ourselves safe whilst being ‘upstanders’ – a term used to describe a person who will act kindly if they see something that should not be happening online.
We also discussed the concept of consent and learned that pressurising a friend to do something undermines their ability to freely and voluntarily agree to an action.
