This week, Year 4 took part in a joyful and eco-friendly Toy Swap. Children were invited to bring in toys they no longer played with, items that were still in great condition but ready for a new home. In return, they had the chance to choose a “new to them” second-hand toy to take away.
The room was full of excitement as pupils explored the tables, chatted about their choices, and discovered treasures that sparked their imagination. More importantly, the event encouraged everyone to think about sustainability: how reusing and sharing can help reduce waste and care for our planet. It was also a wonderful reminder to appreciate what we already have and to recognise the value in giving something a second life.
