This week, year six were investigating how perspective drawing recreates the illusion of objects becoming smaller as our view point moves further away. We also learned that parallel lines will converge into an area known as the vanishing point. To test this theory, we walked around our neighbourhood and took pictures of our local buildings, streets and parks. Then, we found examples that could be used to complete our technical drawings. The end result: a series of magnificent recreations of our wonderful community.

The art is fantastic!
