Year 2 had the beary best day out at The Paddington Experience on London’s South Bank!
We began with a picnic in Jubilee Park, right in the heart of some of England’s most famous landmarks. After munching our sandwiches, we took a stroll down to the River Thames and played a game of “Spot the Landmark” and the children loved pointing out all the sights.
Back in the park, there was time for a run around in the fantastic adventure playground. The children had a chance to let off some steam before the real excitement began…
That’s when we went to meet Paddington himself! We sang, we danced, we hopped aboard a train and even journeyed all the way to “deepest, darkest Peru.” On our travels, we hunted for firm-yet-soft Peruvian oranges and then stumbled across a marmalade maker (Paddington’s favourite, of course!).
It was a truly memorable day, full of laughter, adventure, and a touch of bear magic. A very big thank you to Mr. Dunning for organising the tickets.
What a paws-itively wonderful day! 🐾
