What a fantastic start we’ve had to the new school year! The children have returned with big smiles and boundless enthusiasm, ready to explore, learn, and grow together.
This week, we’ve been settling into our lovely new classroom, learning routines, and making it feel like our own special place. We’ve been practising writing our names with great care and showing off our brilliant mark-making skills. Outside, the children have had a wonderful time exploring the outdoor area — building, creating, climbing, and discovering the world around them.
A letter arrived from the King! He had everything ready for his party — except the sandwiches! We made the most scrumptious cucumber sandwiches you’ve ever tasted and followed instructions carefully.
Most importantly, we’ve been focusing on showing kindness to one another, building friendships, and learning how to work and play together. It’s been such a joy to see everyone helping each other, sharing, and showing what fantastic Reception role models they already are.
We’re so proud of how well everyone has settled in — here’s to an exciting year of learning ahead!
