Welcome back Year 4! It was so nice to see all the children back at school after the summer holidays and we have had a really nice week settling in and getting back into routines. In English, we started reading ‘Wolves’ by Emily Gavett, which we are really enjoying, and started to do some writing based off it. We also did some imaginative artwork based on a picture book called ‘The Journey’. We also started to refresh our knowledge of place value in maths, using hundreds tens and ones to partition numbers. A great first week!
