We have had a wonderful first week in Year One! The children have settled in beautifully, and we are so excited for the year ahead. This week we shared the story The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, which is all about having a go, being creative, and discovering what we can achieve when we try. Inspired by the book, the children used watercolours to create their own artwork, experimenting with mixing colours and exploring different brush techniques. It was a fantastic way to start our journey together, and we can’t wait to see where their creativity takes them next!
