In RE this term, we are learning about special places and people in our community. This week we had a special visitor-Father Paschal, the local priest from St Mary’s Church.
Father Paschal came to talk to the children about what he does and why he is a special person in the community. He spoke gently and told the children that he helps people learn about God, leads prayers and helps families during important times like weddings and baptisms.
Before he left, the children said one of our daily prayers. Father Paschal thanked everyone for being kind friends and helpers.
