This week in Year 1 we have continued reading the book ‘Where the Wild Things Are’. We found out what happened to Max as he explored the forest that appeared in his bedroom . We wrote a postcard to Max to give him some kind words and advice as he seemed lonely and sad in the story. In Maths we have been exploring ‘Fractions’ this week and finding halves and quarters of shapes, objects and amounts. We made our own ‘Fraction Pizzas’ and chose a different topping for each of the 4 quarters of our pizzas. Have a look at our yummy fraction pizzas below.
