Welcome to Spring term in Year 4!
We’re excited for a fantastic term of learning.
In maths, we’ll be continuing our work on multiplication and division. We will be learning how to multiply and divide 2 and 3 digit numbers by 1 digit. We will also be continuing to prepare for the MTCs later in the year.
Our Science unit of learning is Sound, looking at how vibrations help us to hear.
In English, we’ll be reading Varjak Paw by Sf Said and using it to inspire character descriptions and newspaper reports.
In Geography we will be starting our ‘Active Planet’ unit, looking at how our Earth is affected by natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis.
In RE, we’ll be looking at how Hindus worship and going on a fantastic visit to the Swaminarayan Hindu Temple.
