Your homework for this week: Year 4 Spring 2 Week 3 homework

Year 4 have had an action packed week of reading, maths, science, history and so much more.

In science year 4 began learning about how sounds are made by vibrations. Then we conducted an experiment to see how sound travels, and using a tuning fork we were able to observe the vibrations moving over some water in a beaker.

We were treated to not only one special performance this week, but two! The STMP musical ensemble of year 4 and 5 students performed an excellent 3 song concert in our classroom. It was breath-taking. Then, 3 members of our class performed an excellent and inspiring play that they self-directed and produced. The play was all about saving the environment, a fantastically important topic.

For World Book Day, everyone made such a brilliant effort to dress up and celebrate their favourite book characters. We also made our very own top trump cards based on our very own bedtime stories that we are writing in English at the moment.

Well done to the World Book Day most creative costume winners!
