Welcome back!
Year 3 have had an excited return to school this week and have been getting accustomed to the changed of being in KS2. Whilst we have been getting settled into our new environment upstairs, we have been looking at what we want for our future in Year 3.
On our first day, we got to know our new teacher and set our own class rules that we will follow for the year. As the week progressed, we jumped head first into our new learning and starting to build an understanding of who the Ancient Egyptians were.
On Friday, with the loss of Her Majesty, year 3 ‘lit a candle’ in remembrance and paid their respects. They wrote what they would like to remember about her. To finish the day, we learnt how to draw, a step by step portrait of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, using different shapes.
