This week in P.E., year six have been learning how to play Netball. They enjoyed this fast-moving sport because it requires players to run around the court, sprint and change direction quickly. It is also a fantastic test of cardiovascular fitness and strength.


We started our session catching and passing the netballs so that we could assess our hand-eye coordination and warm up the muscles in our upper body.


Once we were warmed up, we played some matches which helped us enhance our passing and shooting skills and practiced different positioning so we could participate in the attacking roles within a team.
