Year 2 has begun exploring our new Power of Reading text – The Princess and the White Bear King.
At the beginning of the story, the princess dreams of a beautiful crown whose gold was brighter than the sun itself.
To remind us of this important plot point and to aid a persuasive writing lesson – the children designed and decorated their own crowns.
