Welcome back!
Year 3 have had an excited return to school this week and have been getting accustomed to the changed of being in KS2. Whilst we have been getting settled into our new environment upstairs, we have been looking at what we want for our future in Year 3.
On our first day, we got to know our new teacher and read a book, called ‘Journey’ by Aaron Becker. This book proved difficult to read as their were no words in the book only very detailed pictures. As a challenge, we were all given one page from the book and we had to write what was happening in that part of the story.
On Friday, we welcomed a new student into our class and enjoyed a day of English, as we learnt to write letters to our future selves with our goals that we would like to achieve across the year. To finish the day, we learnt how to draw a step by step portrait of ourselves, using different shapes.
