This week, we read “My Granny Went to Market”, which is a story about a Granny who travels to different countries on a magic carpet. On her travels she buys different objects. We explored various objects from the countries Granny visited as well as finding the countries on a world map. We also made our own magic carpets using art resources and created patterns using shapes. The children imagined they were travelling on a magic carpet and talked about where they would like to go.
