This week we read “Granny Went to Market.” The story is about a Granny who travels around the world on a flying carpet and buys various objects from different countries. The children were excited to see Granny had sent them a flying carpet! The children imagined where they would like to travel to on the carpet and shared their ideas. They did some great independent writing and drawings linked to this and they also make their own flying carpets.
