Year Five has completed their final rehearsals

Throughout this term, the year five students have been taking part in our annual Primary Shakespeare Festival Project. It is a project that has started in 2009 and has helped schools engage children in the works of a key cultural figure – William Shakespeare. This year, our school has been chosen to take part in the 2022 performance of Macbeth.

This was the final week for our preparations for our performance. Everything that we did this week has been tailored to help us defeat our fear to perform on a big stage. We have practiced our movements relentlessly, rehearsed our lines to perfection and have learned how to choreograph our routine so we are a unified group ready for action.

Now that all of our practice is complete, it is time to shine for our show. Haverstock Secondary School, here we come!
