Year 6 have made an excellent start back at school. They have settled back into their routines and have been getting used to some changes, such as having assemblies back in the hall and being the oldest children in school!
We have began reading our new book, “Goodnight Mister Tom” which relates to our new topic World War Two. During this story, a young boy, Willie, is evacuated to the countryside to live as the German bombs begin to fall on Britain’s cities.
You can also see us in our first Maths lessons. In the first couple of weeks we are learning about how we use place value with numbers over a million.
