We want 3 quarters of a cake!

Another week down! Time seems to be moving so quickly.
This week, year 3 have been on an exciting journey.

In English, we have been writing poetry, setting descriptions and predictions about you new book ‘Moon Man’ by Tomi Ungerer.

In maths, we have been looking at equivalent fractions and counting in fractions.

In science, we enjoyed investigating the use of torches to shine light through different objects, including colour paper.

In Topic, we had our last lesson looking solely at Ancient Egypt. We chose to look at Egyptian Gods and Goddesses and made our own game of Top Trumps using the gods. Next week, we will start to compare Ancient and Modern Egypt.

We have spent a lot of time this week thinking about Remembrance, what it means to us individually and as a whole. On Wednesday, we made poppies for those we want to remember ready for the celebration on Thursday.
