Our focused story of the week in Nursery was” Owl Babies”. The children enjoyed joining in with saying the repetitive rhyme of  Bill, the youngest owl which is” I want my Mummy”. We did some investigating about the leaves changing colour in Autumn as we used magnifying glasses round our classroom and outdoors. Play dough was used to make owls which we decorated by using feathers and buttons. In Maths, we counted and shared worms equally for the 3 baby owls. We used tweezers to pick them up from the soil, this helps in developing our fine motor skills. In the role play area we enjoyed acting out the story with owl puppets and masks.
In RE we learnt about where and how do Christians pray so we used different materials to design a cross.
