Learning about our local community

On Thursday, year six participated in a lively and hands on lesson that taught our students the importance of fieldwork. We learned how we can use our observational skills to study the geography of our schools, the grounds and the key human and physical features of our surrounding environment.

What makes our community special? What are the landmarks and community centers that make our local so great? To the iconic international rail station of St. Pancras, to the beautiful green area of Granary Square, our local is filled with architectural wonders, beautiful homes, modern flats and educational resources that are a beacon for our wonderful city.

The year six students compared buildings new and old, practiced their sketching techniques along several scenic views and discussed what made our local so interesting and unique.
