Reception have had a great start to the new half term. Our focus story was “Jack and the Beanstalk” this week. The children showed off their acting skills when acting out the story. We sequenced the key parts of the story and the children worked in pairs to talk about what happened in the beginning, the middle and the end. The children made their own beanstalk drawings. In maths the class learnt how to play a magic bean counting game and they learnt how to record their scores.
