Year 6 had a fantastic visit to the newly renovated Imperial War Museum. We spent the morning completing a quiz in the First World War gallery and reinacted life in the trenches. Then, after a picnic lunch in the sunshine, we went back into the museum for a Horrible Histories Spies in the Second World War activity. This was very entertaining and we learnt lots about the tricks used by undercover agents during WW2. We would thoroughly recommend you visit with your parents. Look out for some of our persuasive writing soon in our literacy news.
