Year 2 delivered a debate today based on the nursery rhyme ‘Three Blind Mice’. Some children thought that cutting off the mice tails was a fair consequence and others disagreed. We came up with lots of reasons as a class. We then picked three member for each team and delivered our arguments in front of the class.
‘I strongly believe you should not cut off the mice tail because you are harming Gods creation.’ Inaaya
‘I think that this is not a fair consequence because the mice didn’t mean to harm the farmers wife because they were blind.’ Lilia
The children really enjoyed this and each member spoke very clearly and loudly. Well done!
