Our school was visited by scientists from the Francis Crick Institute today.
As part of their visit, each class completed a workshop – our workshop was all about GERMS!
The children first discussed germs, looked at the impact they can have on our bodies and identified symptoms of illness caused by germs.
Afterward, the children used microscopes to identify pieces of glitter and were allowed to explore the learning space with the microscopes.
The session was very engaging and hands-on – the children had a brilliant time!
